Day 1, Bucharest
After arriving in Bucharest, a guided tour leads yo u around the most important sights of Romania's capital. Vis it the Palace of Parliament and Village Museum, where you can see over 70 farms and churches from all corners of Romania. Continue to George Enescu Museum located in the for mer Cantacuzino Palace,one of the most beautiful art no uveaux building in Romania. Continue to the "Revolution Sq uare", where among others the Romanian Athenaeum is locate d. Drive to the Cotroceni Palace, today’s official res idence of the Romanian president, and part of which is open t o public as a museum. Dinner with a traditional Romanian fol k show and overnight. Day 2, Bucharest – Sinaia – Brasov
After breakfast, depart for Sinaia. Following a vis it to the romantic Peles Castle, and a lunch of traditional R omanian hunter's dishes in Sinaia, on to the old town centr e of Bras- ov, then to Poiana Brasov and dinner with tradition al dishes. (B, L,D,O)
Day 3, Brasov – Bran – Sighisoara
After breakfast, departure for Brasov and the magni ficent old medieval castle where Dracula’s legend lives on . Lunch at Cheile Gradistei, amid beautiful mountain scener y. Depart for medieval city of Sighisoara, famous UNESCO site , which remarked itself as a big handicraft and cultural ce ntre. Enjoy dinner at 'Vlad Dracul' Restaurant in the house whe re Count Dracula was born. (B,L,D,O)
Day 4, Sighisoara – Sibiel – Sibiu
After breakfast, leave for Sibiel and a visit to a glass icon workshop. A traditional country lunch in Sibiel foll ows, then transfer to Sibiu for sightseeing. (B,L,D,O)
Day 5, Sibiu – Bucharest
After breakfast, depart for Oltului, the most spect acular river valley in Romania. We then visit Horezu and lear n how to make Romanian pottery, and take part in lunch- m aking in a traditional Romanian house and enjoy the delic acies. Transfer to Bucharest airport for departure. (B,L)
