Upon arrival to Ljubljana airport you will be met and transferred to Bled. Some free time before evening transfer to Radovljica for visiting Apean museum and welcome dinner at a local restaurant starting with wine tasting at their wine cellar. Overnight in Bled. (D,O)
Today visit Bled castle and take the typical “pletna ” boat to the island in the middle of the lake. Then continue to Kranjska Gora and Kobarid where you will visit the stunning First World War museum. We will travel to Goriska Brda region for dinner with wine tasting in typical tourist far m. Start you day with the visit of this hilly region: first stop in Gonjace and climb up a panoramic tower to see the » Slovenian Tuscany » hills... and then to Smartno typical village and to Dobrovo castle. Continue the discovery of this region with visiting the big industrial Goriska Brda wine cellar with wine tasting and then to a local tourist farm - enjoy late lunch with wines. In the afternoon continue to Portoroz. (B,L,O)
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Piran and Koper where we will visit the Vina Koper wine cellar famous for the refosco wines. After wine tasting continue to Lipica stud f arm and see the Lipica white horses. Afterwards visit one o f the best teran wine producers near Dutovlje with wine tastin g. Continue to Maribor. Today’s dinner will be in a local restaurant. (B,D,O)
Sightseeing tour of Maribor and Vinag wine cellar with wine tasting. Then continue to Ptuj and visit the castle in the Old town. In the evening drive to Jeruzalem hill for dinner with wines at local “gostilna”.Overnight in Maribor. (B,D,O)
Morning drive through Bizeljsko vineyards to Novo Mesto. Our first stop will be in Rogaska Slatina, where you will visit Rogaska crystal factory, then on to Olimje monaster y – one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe, and continue to a local » repnica«, a typical local wine and harvest cellar unique to Bizeljsko region. We will continue to Istenic champagne cellar before reaching our hotel in Smarjeske spas. Dinner on Trska gora “zidanica” with some musical entertainment. (B,D,O)
Morning free for enjoying spa facilities at your hotel, then a visit of a typical homestead like “Matjazeva domacija” to learn about cvicek most typical Dolenjsko region wine with tasting. Continue to Ljubljana where in the afternoon we will have a short city tour before farewell dinner in a local restaurant. (B,D,O)
