Itinerary
Day 1, (Thu) Arrive in Athens, Greece
Begin your vacation with transfer to your hotel. Upon hotel check in time to rest or to start exploring the Hellenic capital.
Day 2, (Fri) Athens - Piraeus (Embarkation)
Morning sightseeing in Athens with a Local Guide features the Acropolis, the Erechtheum with its Porch of Maidens, the beautifully preserved Theseum, Roman Temple of Zeus, Theater of Dionysus, and the Agora where Socrates taught. Vistas of the government buildings and elegant homes in the modern city provide a striking contrast to the remains of the glorious past. In the afternoon, drive to Piraeus for embarkation. Around 5 pm, sail into the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea, easily settling into the cruising routine of sunbathing and sipping cool drinks.
Day 3 to 8, (Sat to Thu) Cruising
Enjoy your cruise to Istanbul, Mykonos, Patmos, Kusadasi (Turkey), Rhodes, Crete, Santorini (weather permitting). Optional excursions are available to Ephesus, Lindos, and Knossos.
Day 9, (Fri) Piraeus (Disembarkation) - Athens
After breakfast on board, disembark at Piraeus and return to Athens. The remainder of the day is free to catch up on last-minute shopping.
Day 10, (Sat) Flight home
Transfer to airport for your flight back home.
