Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival to Belgrade, hotel accommodation. Visit to the Ethnographic Museum Belgrade comprising numerous folklore exhibitions. Short introduction by most prominent Serbian ethnographic expert on the Serbian handwork. Traditional lunch. Afternoon visit to the workshop of handmade folklore costumes and variety of ethnographic products: leather "opanci" (hand-made leather shoes), embroidery, weaving products. Traditional dinner in Skadarlija restaurant. Overnight.
Day 2: After breakfast drive along highway to Velika Plana and visit to the traditional settlement presenting authentic Serbian customs and old-crafts. Folklore performance and refreshment. Drive on to Manasija Monastery and presentation on handmade jewelry. Drive on to Despotovac and lunch on the gorgeous waterfalls of Lisine. Drive to Vrnjacka Banja and hotel accommodation. Traditional dinner, overnight.
Day 3: After breakfast drive via Kraljevo to Prislonica village for brake and folklore presentation on handmade flutes made of wood. Drive on to Guca and cordial welcome with brass orchestra. Traditional lunch and handmade workshop on weaving and knitting. Drive on to Ivanjica and hotel accommodation. Traditional dinner, overnight.
Day 4: After breakfast drive to Zlakusa village and folklore performance and visit to "Terzica avlija" (Terzic's Yard) the settlement flourishing traditional arts and customs. Folklore performance and traditional lunch. Drive via Zlatibor to "Staro Selo Sirogojno", the open-air museum presenting traditional way of life of Zlatibor region from the 19th century. Handmade workshop conducted by local artisans whose handwork is exported throughout the world. Accommodation in luxurious wooden chalets. Traditional dinner (home-made specialties) and overnight.
Day 5: After breakfast drive to Kosjeric village. Folklore performance and presentation on handwork. Traditional branch and refreshment. Drive on to Valjevo and visit to the National Museum comprising authentic Serbian exhibitions. Traditional lunch followed by the visit to the "old bazaar street" where old-crafts are exhibited and sold. Late afternoon drive to Belgrade. Evening arrival and end of program.
